I drove it for about 1500 miles before I had the money to replace it. Still got average 58mpg, just a ton of recals about 1 or 2 an hour. I found one for $405 plus $150 shipping. It's about as heavy as an office laser printer. My local Honda dealer in Florida put it in for $240.62 took 4 hours. (they also did the headlight recall for free (of course). Drove great on the way home.

The batteries may be mostly shot, but the circuitry is still perfect. If anyone's interested, I'll sell the whole cage for $250, otherwise, I'll probably either stick it on Ebay or keep it for spare parts.

Wow, i looked all over that website, parts for the insight are rare. What part catigory did you search under, and were you really just lucky enough to need a battery when someone else was selling them??
