I own a 2010 GEN2 Insight and I want to replace the HB3/9005 brights with LED for better visibility.
The incandescent HB3 lights up, but when I replace one with an LED, it stays dark. Yes, the unchanged side still lights up. No, I do not think all four LED that have been delivered to me are dead.
I do not get a warning on the dash either, but then it's a Jap import wich lacks a lot of the dash features, no maintenance reminder for instance.
So - is the Insight some clever beast that does need some mods to accept LED brights or are all four brights dead? Remember, incandescent HB3 works....
...confused

Those did not fit. I had some job and family issues and missed the return window

They stay dark when wired up outside the housing.

Those fit, but still, they stay dark:

None - none - of the 4 LEDS will light up. The HB3/9005 will.... and yes, unless Honda had mixed up polarity and red is black and ground is hot ...
