I left my lights on last night and my battery was dead when I tried to start my car. A friend jumped me off; when I started down the road I realized that the "other" battery was completely down to nothing, but it recalibrated within about 10 minutes. Anyway, since I'm never done this in a hybrid I'm a little worried that I could have done some damage, but everything seems to be fine now.

_Anytime_ the 12v is "lost" the BCM looses track of IMA SoC. Its called an IMA reset. Similar to a recal, but its predictable. ;)

Repeated (many) 12v discharges to "dead" is _very_ "hard" on a 12v lead acid battery. Its not good for the 144v's either. But "damage" from a few times :?: Naah. :)

HTH! :)

This happened to me too -- my ex had left the lights on. Since I didn't realize that is what had happened, I didn't try to jump the car -- I had it towed to a dealership. This was about 3 years ago, and everything has been fine since!
