Anyone on the fence about this, this is a great deal. The cost of the setup alone is most of the price, and you get the install for a few hundred more, and he's willing to travel. Balto is an amazing guy who has been extremely helpful to me, he knows his stuff, I wouldn't hesitate to take him up on this offer if you're looking for a correctly built and installed Li setup.

The standard charger is great. If you read it's referencing a charge from 10%. The battery will likely never get that low. I have this exact same battery and it rarely lets itself get under 50% SOC. Sometimes it gets in the 40s but very quickly goes back to 50s-60s which is where it lives. I rarely grid charge but when I do it charges from 45% to 70% in about 2 hours. The fast charger really isn't needed in most conditions.

Unless you have somewhere to plug in every single day or do multiple short trips where you are using an IMAC&C to constantly use assist, it's not really worth it. It would have also added to the cost a couple hundred.

It regens itself, you don't have to do anything. The grid charger is really not needed, John just put it on there while he was in there to future proof it for all-electric MIMA tech.

-provides considerably more output power
-should last longer than a NiMH pack

Compared to OEM, the 47Ah FoMoCo LiBCM Kit:
-weighs about 50 pounds more
-stores about 12x more energy

FYI: I've solved every single issue I discussed in that video... it's way out of date, but there's the pack installed in the car.
