Balto, where are you relative to jue motors? I'd be willing to pick mine up before taking my car back to Wisconsin for conversion at Eric's if its not super far off my normal route or near a casino I regularly stop at for work.

How many modules will safely fit in an insight with passenger seat removed. I might be able to assist logistics in a small way. My tahoe will also be returned for so ill have a lot of storage but won't know my route until closer to the date. Generally from California I go east to Phoenix area and then to New mexico or Colorado or both. I wouldn't have the full tahoe for storage as I use part of it for sleeping in while traveling.

As a side note on that how many modules are expected to go to Wisconsin? It always seemed like it had an inordinate number of insights per capita.

Would probably be January at the earliest. That's when Scott thinks the car will be done. That would he the California to Wisconsin trip with the insight. The tahoe to colorado would be shortly after. Might spend some time with family in Wisconsin.

I can give you a heads up on when I'm picking each vehicle back up.

Insight has uprated springs front and back. I'd probably be comfortable with 500 pounds give or take.

The closest I usually get to Denver is black hawk Colorado but that's not super far from Denver. I could probably come to Denver sometime but if someone came to Blackhawk it would be the most convenient for me.

Just to be clear I'd probably not be making these trips until January so people that are wanting theirs right away are going to not want that. Most likely I'd be delivering to later adopters if at all.

There is however a strong possibility of work bouncing me between Vegas and New Mexico/Colorado this fall and I'd likely be at Jue motors at least once for servicing on the tahoe so I could do a pickup then.

I'm only purchasing my set from mudder. Did you tag the wrong person? I'm just offering to help with logistics if it works out. I've already agreed to get them from mudder. Eric never suggested getting them through him that I recall. The amount of work mudder puts in on a set would probably cost a fortune to have Eric do.

I was just told by Eric that all non stock projects including mine are on indefinite hold. That won't change anything as far as the tahoe going to colorado and new mexico but it would change the insight going to Wisconsin and carrying a second pack.

On that note where do I take this thing now to have it converted?

Jue Motors. Location is less important than skill. It will be driven 8k miles a month and a return to be fixed will be very difficult to schedule.

Mudder, someone on the Facebook insight page mentioned that the 60s pack has issues with regenerative braking. How big of a problem is it for someone who doesn't plug in regularly and is it looking like it can be overcome or should I settle for 48s?

If I have to settle for 48s the 5ah would be the faster setup since it has similar horsepower and lower weight, correct?
