managed to get my dash to read lol mpg today. Im thinking its now my Lol-o-meter. At one stage it was a double lol but i only managed to click the photo a few minutes after.

not sure how to insert photo here but i put it as my avatar on here as i was proud of my car, achieved inspite of a stupid ima and engine management light. Thanks to Steve from autotech in Thirsk for curing the car of this ill.

In other news VW blue motion did 1527 miles on a single tank at an avg of 45mph, my hat off to you sir, however. Rufio was faster by about 11mph at least and got about 14 more miles to the gallon. But fair play i only drove 200miles today not 1527. Still id like to get rufio into the record books one day.

VW will just beat us once again with the XL1 if its ever really released.
Were the VW blue motion tests done in the UK or a different country?
Is the VW blue motion diesel or petrol/gasoline?

I think it was UK to France and it was a diesel. My trip was manchester up to yorkshire to get the car serviced. Unfortunately my error msg of p1572 and p1573 came back again today. something to do with low and high readings on the dc dc convertor. The diagnostic computer at the garage picked up a p1600 and p1601 which are maybe more alarming. oh well maybe i will be forced into a new pack sooner than i thought. on a grid charger periodically at the moment.
