Just gone on a major downer, I have an Insight 2003 manual gearbox and when I bought it 2 years ago I read that Insights 1st gen from 2003 were exempt from congestion charge. This was ideal because I live near the city. I have just read on the TFL website that the zone is going to be extended to the north circular so I made my application to TFL for the exemption and they said my car is not exempt. Anyone else had the same thing happen and have they changed the emission rules?
