As I've recently moved into the Insight zone from the comforts of my local Audi world, I'm looking for other local Insight owners who may have interest in informal get togethers.

The local Audi group usually has a GTG every 6- 8 weeks to swap stories, check out each other's cars and make some friends with possibly similar interests.

That's bascially what I'm thinking of. maybe a GTG at a local Uno's, Dunkins or other place with a parking lot that could accomodate a small group of enthusiasts.

Any interest? I'm in RI. 8)

I'd be interested if the timing were right. I live in the sticks in New Hampshire, work in Chelmsford, MA and have relatives in RI, so I do get down there on occaision.

Suggestion:
I live in the country in NE CT have 3.5 acres, with a big yard that is partially in the shade in the afternoon.
How about a cookout in my large back yard?
Everyone brings their own stuff, and we set up in the shade, and make an afternoon out of it?
You can take test rides in my MIMA equipped boost battery equipped Insight. and check out the EV 5th wheel? Could also set up some horseshoes or other fun stuff?
Ideas/opinions?

I'm in n. nj, but have been spending lots of time with my family in albany. I'd love to extend a trip out into new england proper for a meet up! I'll keep an eye out for when y'all meet and hope I can join you.

'Great suggestion to have an event at your place in NE CT. It's clearly been a gathering place for Insights in the past, attracting visitors from as far away as CA.

No doubt your invention lab is more interesting than the Jordans Furniture parking lot in Natick where last year's local hybrid gathering was held.

I guess the question is whether to invite the Prius folks who would no doubt enjoy and enhance the event, but who outnumber us by an order of magnitude. Parking would be a challenge!

You know you can count on me to help with the planning.
(I have 2 extra sets of horseshoes. )
