Hi all!

I'm working on a friends new-to-them Insight, and noticed that the antenna base is loose. I also noticed that the passanger trim near the windshield is basically off... I'm guessing PO was about to remove the headliner to get to the antenna base. They also removed a LOT more than was necessary to try and "work" on the big battery. I don't get it... this site is SO close at hand...

Anyway, I'm betting you have to take at least most of the headliner down to get to the bottom of the antenna to tighten it... correct? If so, can someone point me in the right direction for a walkthrough? I've never pulled a headliner down (I've stapled one up in an old Wagoneer...).

Thanks so much!

Download service manual from this website (it's stickied). Search said manual for headliner replacement. Hint: It's page 9 of the 'interior_trim.pdf' manual.
