May heve to leave chaps.

I am finding the amount of censorship & excessive moderation by a certain individual quite offensive.

He seams to think he has sole ownership of what is actually a public forum, I had hoped to become a moderator myself one day, but if this is going to be the stance I think I'll leave it.

I would think that if the Site Admin (benjamin) believed that any moderators comments or posts were excessive or offensive that he would discuss it with them privately and take any further action if neccessary.

Here are some forum posting rules (yes there are rules that you agree to before posting):

At one time or another, we may accidentally post something that violates the rules of the forum. If the post gets an edit from any moderator, a reason is given. If you disagree with the reason, you always have the choice of taking the issue to the Site Admin.

As he was politely asked to do. <sigh>

But this now makes his second post along these lines. :(

If there is _any_ member that dosen't understand the "issues" surrounding these locks feel free to PM a moderator of your choice or the site Admin (Benjamin). FYI to the group, Benjamin has now been notified.

But the threads I referenced above explain it as well as I know how. If you don't understand I'll try a different angle in a PM. Please be specific with your question(s).

Posted publicly just to let the group see how such off-topic discussions can eclipse what we all come here for. Insight related information / discussion.
