I have been doing a lot of searching for an alternitive synthentic 0W-20 since Mobile1 was discontinued.

I found this with a google search

Penzoil Platinum for Hybrids 0W-20.

http://www.sema.org/images/pdf/HybridReleasefinal.pdf#search='0W20 oil'

It says that it will be availble for install (i.e. Jiffy Lube) in Jan '05, but nothing about on the shelves. They do have it on there web site.

http://www.pennzoil.com/products/motor_oil/platinum.html

Has anyone found this yet? Although I not a big Penoil fan at least it is a full synthentic.

There is nothing wrong with just using Mobil 1 5W-20. Remember 0W-20 oil doesn't stay at 0W for very long after starting. So unless you live in artic cold conditions, it's not needed.

Resist is correct :!: ;)

0W vs. 5W will have a negligible MPG difference _except_ in extreme cold. For that matter even a 5W-30 difference is minimal. Again except in colder conditions.

Yup :!: Penzoil is the only full syn Honda 0w-20 OEM alternative since Mobile discontinued theirs (but it still can be found here and there).

Expect availability to be limited for awhile. :(

HTH! :)

And that is only during start up. Once the engine oil gets warm it is no longer 0W oil.
