Be the second person in the world (that we know of) to have a turbo installed in their Insight.
If done right, your cruizing mileage will not be affected but you can get anywhere between a 30% to 100% increase in power!

But to get better mileage one needs to learn how to drive more efficiently and/or slower.

I have done 6 minor mods to my 5-spd. Most of them are cosmetic. To improve mpg, I have increased the tire pressure to 49 lbs and removed the right side mirror and the front licence platel. On long drives removing your shoes and just having stocking feet on the gas pedal may help mpg. (more sensitivity to the pedal) Setting the spark plug gap about .005 wider than spec may help slightly also. And be sure to keep the car, especially the frontal areas, waxed and slippery. Also, do not drive around carrying extra weight. On long trips alone, I take out the passenger seat and leave it home......... Billy....

OH yes, I agree with Billy,
Keep your tires at 45 or 50 psi.
That makes a noticable difference in MPG .
