The Ontario Regional Autoslalom Series, though an interesting fluke, is moving to Quebec for an event on August 14.

Team Insight is bound for PMG on August 13... so, anyone from the Montreal area want to meet up with us on Saturday night?

You locals will have to choose the venue, for obvious reasons, but give us directions and we'll be there!

(We're harmless, I swear. The other Ontario drivers can vouch for us.)

can anyone attend or even participate in the PMG event !
As for meeting point, one reknown meeting point for car inthusiast is the orange julep on decarie expressway, wich is the highway 15 south, south of highway 40. When joining 15 south from hwy 40, keep right and take first exit. you are almost there. you cannot miss it because there is a giant orange, i mean giant.
But maybe other memebers have better idea.

Actually I don't know if a novices are allowed to compete because this is a very unique and huge event where 2 different auto-x series (CASC-Ontario Regional and CADL-Quebec Regional) competitors will be competing on the same track under their own rules.

But specatators are allowed, but because it's located in a very high security automotive proving grounds, people are only allowed to enter and leave at a certain time. We will be escorted by security to make sure nobody wonders away from where we are allowed to be or takes photos of high security areas with prototype cars or test crashed cars.

Hi Opal, Guillermo and Normand,

It was great meeting you, very nice people and very nice car improvement on your "slalom" Insight, I would have hoped to meet you at the race but was too tired from my corn party after the meet (wakeup too late, getting too old for partying all night))

The guy with no teeth on the moped says "hy" also (joke)

Next time we meet, you chose the vegetarian restaurant, it would be a nice change in food habit.

I hope to see some pictures soon.

Yes indeed Yves, it was a real pleasure meeting Opal and Guillermo.
We got the chance to see Guillermo's Insight set-up, quite nice.
Also, we test drove Yves car with MIMA installed and all i can say is
MamaMIMA, this is great.
I could not be there on sunday, work work work, but hopefully in the near future i'll be there.
The Vegetarian REstaurant would have been nice as i am 95% Veggy myself. Next time around we will plan this much better.
Again it was a real pleasure meeting you both and hope we will meet again.
