15 percent seems to be the perfect compromise of dark/privacy and visability. I see fine at night, our cars are so tiny, hence we are very close the glass, this makes the same tint easier to see through than a bigger car (my guess).

thanks again for the compliments!

Sweet!

I've held off on tinting my car for now, since I drive through two tunnels regularly and found it was a bit hazardous to change lanes with my (tinted) Celica. But I miss the shading effects. Have you driven through a tunnel in daytime yet since having it done?

no long tunnels here, but I don't see a big difference with long stretch or road with no lights? Either way, I'd just check the side view mirrors for lights and move over OR avoid it all together... I've driven cars with tint for a while now, you just get used to it. I would say I am very careful backing up though!
