The Check Engine Idiot Light (tm) came on 2 days ago, and I got the following code from the AutoZone reader - P1456, which they said was a fuel tank temperature sensor circuit failure. Does anyone have an idea what the heck I'm supposed to do to fix this?

Hello, I have an other listing than you:

P1456 Evaporative Emissions (EVAP) Control System Leakage (Fuel Tank System)

It could be that your gas cap is not fully tightened. I remember it takes about 3 different drives for hte light to turn Off

 Sounds like an AutoZone diagnosis.

Did it also recomend some gasoline "Heet" addative. :?: :D (a name brand de-icer)

Yves is correct. P1456 is a leak code. See if the gas cap "nudges" before it clicks. If so thats the problem :!:

HTH ! :)

Don't just "tighten" the gas cap on refueling. Turn the cap as you hear at least 4 clicks.
