I have downloaded every resources I could find on here (& the internet) and going through them none of them seem to have a schematic for the steering column and ignition. Some methhead broke into my car and from what i can tell took a flathead to the ignition - it is mangled beyond recognition. *Sidenote: i am not even sure what to ask for at the parts store. It does not appear to be an ignition switch like I had thought: https://www.autozone.com/batteries-...ition&fromString=search&isIgnoreVehicle=false
Starter switch also is maybe not correct? https://www.autozone.com/electrical...ition&fromString=search&isIgnoreVehicle=false

Also I read when searching under ignition that there might also be the added problem of the key being needed as an antitheft mechanism. So any info on what to do here would be great. It sounds like if I can get the Steering Column fixed that I can use a flathead to start it as long as I have the key present. I am not really excited about this being a long term solution so any info on this process would be great.

Anywho, I had a club on and they somehow managed to still pull the wheel off of the column and I am unsure what they broke in the process. I am also unsure how to put it back. I have pulled apart a steering column before but it was some 80s Chevy and required a special tool and was quite an adventure. My wheel is just like hanging there detached from the column by only electrical wires (some of which were broken). ... I will probably be able to figure it out but having schematics would really help.

Look on Rock Auto. They sell a whole module for about $200.

Here is maybe a link to the part:

You might need to do the key "re-learn procedure". Not sure if you need a special tool for that.

Good luck!
