I bought mine on April, 2002 and I've had no problems so far. I've only put about 6050 miles on it and averaging 70.2 mpg...yes beating the book! A couple months ago, I've been playing with the idea of trading it in for a Subaru WRX (I'm a rally fan), but my brother talked me out of it (He's getting a WRX so I'll get to drive his here and there!). Recently with fuel prices hitting record highs, it feels even better these days to be driving a hybrid! I top the tanks once a month and get around 680-710 miles per tank. Power/acceleration is plenty, just don't take on a WRX! I bought mine out the door for $19,400. It's a great car for commuting to work! Actually, it's just a great little car!
