A friend of mine noticed an oil leak that I had left on his
driveway over the weekend coming from the left side of my engine.
I left the car at the dealership yesterday morning, and received a call
explaining the problem.
They claim that during manufacture, one of the gaskets was installed
backwards which resulted in the leak.
Luckly, I didn't loose enough oil to cause damage, but it certainly makes
me think that an extended warranty may not be a waste of money.
It really sucks that at 3,500 miles my car is stuck at the dealership waiting
for this gasket to be shipped in, and I have to drive a suzuki aerio rental car!
I'm just now realizing that *shock* I have a real attatchment to this car!
