Try tap out the hole to the next size. Than move up a size bolt. A lot cheaper and easy fix.
Thanks for the advice! I wish I was more adept at mechanical work. Haha. I will definitely start looking into that option though, is it an involved process or something a not so handy person could attempt? I've been able to do the brakes/rotors myself and replacing the headlight switch on the steering column (about maxed out my intuitive abilities)Try tap out the hole to the next size. There are actually other gaskets that should be replaced, like the 2 oil filter gaskets, the figure 8 gasket on the oil cooler hoses. Might as well replace those if you are dropping the pan.@ellisguitarman - should the tap/bolt idea not work out for you, the part number for an '01 oil pan is 11200-PHM-000. The pan gaskets are two half moons, 11251 and 11252-PHM-000. 14mm drain plug bolt 90001-PHM-000.
