has anyone used the chinese okacc gen1 ima battery sticks ?

Have never come across an endorsement of sticks from China. Have seen nothing but warnings and bad experieinces including poor welds and leaking sticks. While it's possible you have come across a new high quality supplier, it's probably unlikely.

It's sticks vs the entire battery.
LiBCM is something to consider if the car prove itself as a keeper but right now I feel that a few replacement sticks might do.
