I just installed a new head unit this weekend. It has a dvd player, so there is a wire that should be connected to the parking brake sensor harness, and another (in case I install a backup camera) that should be connected to the backup light harness. Instructions from the seller included everything but these two items, and the closest they could come on the parking brake issue was that it would be an orange wire.

Does anyone have any idea where I can find the correct wires to tap into?

Neither is a big issue: I didn't buy the unit to watch movies, and I doubt I'll install a backup camera...but you never know.

Thanks!

... orange wire...
It's correct. Or try use wire of parking switch.

Also need to know:
- model of the head unit
- the generation of the car (G1, G2)

Use service manual: http://www.insightcentral.net/forums/honda-insight-forum-2nd-gen-discussion/61922-download-2010-2011-insight-service-electrical-troubleshooting-manuals-pdf.html

The rear camera power is connected to the taillight (the lamp of rear move).

It is necessary to take into account the voltage of the camera, most use 5V, but on the lamp - 12V. You may need to install the LM7805 stabilizer.
I install rear cam DIY, at album: http://www.insightcentral.net/forums/members/269082-gms24ru-albums-rear-camera.html
