Would anyone know the best place to get the correct Iridium spark plugs?
Which ones are considered better?

What do you guys consider to be the best spark plug wires?

what is considered the best Oil filter/Oil for the insight?

should the honda brand name parts be used?

thanks in advance for the feedback.

Hello Jason2,

Question #1 Honda Item, I don't know of any other plug for the Insight, they have to be matched to your engine.

2. Would not be Insight related, the insight does not have spark plug wires, it has a coil on top of each plug, they should last 100K miles.

3. As for oil, Mobil 1 is used by most. (we should do a survey on this)

4. Of course

Re: thanks

The spark plugs are rated for 105K miles. However there are factors that _may_ reduce an individuals ability to attain this number.

The coil packs service life is indefinite.

Better oil filters :?: The debate continues...

From an MPG perspective :?: No. A measurable difference will be synthetic vs mineral based oil. From a "better" protection perspective :?: Almost impossible to quantify except under laboratory conditions where all the other wear factors can be isolated. Are there some out there :?: Probably yes. But if you neglect or other wise delay a needed oil change you've more than likely _erased_ and increased service life benefit achieved from a "better" filter. Its that small (IMO).

HTH! :)
