Does anyone know how to program the keyless entry remotes? Recently purchased a set and took it to the dealership. They want 90 bucks to do it!

If I recall correctly, it has to do something with fiddling with the START I and START II positions.

I have sent you instructions by e-mail. It involves repeated switching on (Pos. II) and off at the ignition and clicking the transmitter within 4 secs of switching on and then switching off again within 4 secs. Hope this helps.

This worked for me. On the remote note, the remote for a CRV will work for the Insight as well as it uses the same Fcc ID. You have an extra button for the rear hatch that doesn't do anything, but the lock unlock and panic work well. And you can usually find the CRV remotes pretty cheap on eBay.

I was looking for replacement keyless entry remotes not too long ago and I found a site that had them for $39.99 NEW for my Insight.

I had them delivered in less than a week and the programming instructions only took maybe 10 seconds?
