So I was trying to clean my EGR valve and plate to fix the hurky jerky and found this in the bumper must've fallen in there or smth

I have no clue what it is and if it's needed in the car

Any help will be greatly appreciated

Temperature sensor for aircon.

Goes in front of radiator about half way down.

Thanks so much helped me clear things up on why this car has a low mpg. Around 40. Gonna change the spark plugs my engine is BBB but rn someone put generic ones in. Now with this sensor hopefully mpg goes up
