I am looking to make a custon I-pod setup. I know that there is a part, http://www.logjamelectronics.com/piehonaux.html, which converts the cd changer input into two RCA females (the picture on the on that site is generic, the one shown on this site is actually the part, second pic, http://heedy.osarusan.net/ipod+insight/ ... sight.html). This allows you to hook up an I-pod or similar device. I dont want to use a modulator or get a new head unit. So, my question: Does the stock CD changer come with a section of wiring that does what the part mentioned above does. I think that I could come across that wiring kit much cheaper and I could mess around with it a little and not fear ruining it. Thanks.

with the stock unit, you only choice is that expensive converter. If you want it cheap, try ebay.

That little circuit tells the unit that your ipod is a honda approved changer... then you can pass in an audio sorce. You will be hard pressed to find it cheaper anywhere! perhaps if you took apart an old changer.

look here for an ipod setup i used /made
