A while back, I was looking for a parking spot, and I found an open spot next to an Aston Martin Vanquish Coupé (2012–2014). It had me thinking, this might be the only time an Insight and a Vanquish have ever been parked next to each other, considering there's only a few thousand Insights left and only a few thousand Aston Martins manufactured for the entire world each year.

Do you have any pictures of your Insight parked next to something rare or unique?

I’ve parked my Insight next to my stick V70R many many times, 1/800 manual vRs and 1/3200 vRs in the US!

No photo, because I don’t carry a phone, but I once parked next to a 1959 Rolls. In fact, I went out of my way to park next to it. Was like a dinghy next to a cruise ship!

The Insight definitely has more charm than the Aston Martin.
The Aston is kind of odd that way. There’s one around here and I always mistake it for a Ford Fusion. Now, the convertible... To my eyes, it looks a million times better!

My previous ride was a 1993 Isuzu Trooper RS. This was a short, two door version of the standard Trooper. There were approximately 1500 imported into the US. Unfortunately I didn't get a pic of the two vehicles side by side, but they spent time together!?

The rarest car I've ever parked my Insight next to is .......... my other Insight!

Only 46 delivered new to Australia with a handful of used CVT imports.

I park mine next to my 95 S6 Avant all the time. One of only 300 imported. Came with the 5 cylinder turbo motor that made audi a legend in 80s wrc. Factory recaros, torsen diffs, locking rear diff, car is awesome. Just did a bunch of work to it and it's at about 380hp now.

Coming from California those Aston Martin's are not very rare.

I don't think this counts quite the same, but on our way to pick up IC user purple's G1 Insight while driving her G2 Insight we came across this NSX on the highway.

Just over 2 years ago I came out to my hotel parking lot in Golden CO to see a trailer with two DeLorean's tricked out like the Doc's "Time Machine" version, with "Flux Capacitor" and all! One was either more complete or more accurate than the other, but they both looked like professional jobs. I wasn't sure if they were part of a remake in progress or a personal hobby conversion or what.

Later I discovered Bob's Prop Shop who does these commercially for a cool $85K (donor car included):

Delorean Time Machine for Sale

I wasn't driving my Insight, so I guess that doesn't really count.

On another trip cross-country, I pulled into the freeway motel I had booked online when we saw that "Tornado Weather" was brewing and wanted to have a little better shelter than my sub-2000lb Insight. There was a whole Storm Chase crew staying there including what I presume was either TIV-I or TIV-II from the Discovery Channel. The other vehicles weren't as highly modified, but all looked pretty cool. It was definitely the only one with the ground-penetrating harpoon system on all for corners for "hunkering down" in place.

I also once "paced" a big red, English "double-decker" bus on I-10 for about 20 miles somewhere east of Flagstaff. It hadn't been converted to an RV or Tiny Home yet, but it looked like most of it was gutted, so I was guessing that was what was planned for it.

If I go look at it there's an SRT10 Ram commemorative edition here in the valley. They only made 200 of them and from what I can gather quite a few of them have been totaled. So that would be parked next to a car that there's probably under 150 left of. Speaking of which, I wonder if there's more than 200 operational citrus cars left in the united states. I see a lot in junkyards.

Maybe not rare in the sense you're thinking, but last weekend I parked next to a snazzy new NSX at Knott's Berry Farm. It was real purdy!
