Rear drum brakes look like they are so hot they are glowing red! :shock:

But Kip figured it out, it must be an orange cone on the other side.

WOW, never in a million year i would of tought that they could run so hot as to glow.
After the glowing, are they still in good shape or melted.

:lol: :lol: Thanks for the great photo. Before tooooo many folk believe this, I have to suggest that this is actually a cone seen through the spokes.

Yes Normand, the aluminum housings of the rear brake drums would melt at this temperature.

Looking at the photo more closely I think you are right.
Must be a cone on the other side because my drum brakes aren't that big :lol:

That took me a minute to figure that out. Deffinitely has to be a cone, but it sure looks cool either way. Now if only it appeared the front brakes were red hot first, as they would be probably long before the rears got that hot, that would be a cool picture.... photoshop anyone? :lol:
