I just reset the lifetime mpg and my 2001 CVT has a tad over 16,000 miles. I also reset a segmented instant mpg. I noticed the lifetime average mpg is not keeping up with the segmented mpg. After about 10 miles the lifetime is at 40mpg and the instant is up to 50mpg.
So I'm wondering, even after a reset does the lifetime take into consideration the current mileage already on the car?
