I just reset the lifetime mpg and my 2001 CVT has a tad over 16,000 miles. I also reset a segmented instant mpg. I noticed the lifetime average mpg is not keeping up with the segmented mpg. After about 10 miles the lifetime is at 40mpg and the instant is up to 50mpg.

So I'm wondering, even after a reset does the lifetime take into consideration the current mileage already on the car?

I just reset mine about a week ago at around 28K, and didn't have any problems or differences between the LMPG and the Trip MPG that I reset at the same time... just FYI

You are correct. I might have had the car running when I reset them both before. After resetting them again without the engine running, it works fine. Thanks!

Yeah, it was great to be able to display some good results on my LMPG's, (until my wife borrowed the car for the weekendand ruined the mileage...) you know what i'm saying though...
