It has just started to hail out here in Chicagoland. Thankfully I'm parked under a tree and have at least a little protection. Anyone know how resistant the body is to this kind of damage?

So far its pretty small, like the rock salt they put down in the winter. For those of you who don't know what snow looks like, dont worry :p

The Insight's aluminium panels are softer than steel panels. So, as you would imagine they would dent rather easily if subjected to ice cube sized hail.

Peppercorn sized hail won't do anything to your car. Well, except make it cold. :)

phew. thought I was gonna have to call up the paintless dent removal folks...

On a totally unrelated note (sorry mods) I went through my local car wash the other day and had the guy Armor All the tires. Threw him for a spin when he saw the skirts! Tossed him a fiver since he moved the car forward to get everything.
