The dealer told me "they all do thata", so was no help.

Sometimes I get a little bucking but only when reversing from a complete stop and going uphill. Otherwise reverse is smooth.

They all might do that when the tranny syncros are 25+ years old and you can seen the ground throught the rust in the floor boards, but your new car souldn't violently buck when reversing.
