Have some pics from my road trip this summer. I've been taking them once a year since I got my CVT insight in 2001.

I drove down to VA beach for a bachelor party then made my way to Covington, GA, then shot up to the Smokey Mountains and followed the Blue Ridge Parkway back home to NJ. Since I split from my friends in VA beach I only had my insight to photograph.

I usually take 5,000+ mile trips but I only had 5 work days to take off this year. It ended up being 2,100 miles @ 62mpg. I've put 83k miles on my car since the summer of 2001 with zero problems so far. I was also suprise how well my battery worked in the mountains- never fully depleted.

The shot of your Insight at Cooter's with th General Lee was quite a contrast. It is plain to see why they are called the Smokey Mountains, nice shots. Since you are not to far away you should try the Cabot Trail around Cape Breton Island one summer.

I actually wanted to get a better pic with the cars side by side but they said the General broke down that morning. They were only able to push it out of the garage a little ways. I would still love to get one of those '69 Chargers, tho.
