My local SCCA San Diego, CA autox club is putting on a Championship event to help the victims of Hurricane Katrina this Saturday 9-10-05 starting at 9:00 am. Any one is welcome to come and participate. If you want some more info let me know. Here is a link to the San Diego Autox web site describing what we will be doing.

That's what I race. I have been Autoxing my Insight for about a year now. The Insight does pretty well. Send me a private message and I will fill you in on the details.

I thought I would share some pictures of the latest San Diego, CA Solo 2 event. There were two Insights running this time. We also did a fund raiser for the vistims of Hurrican Katrina. We would pay $5.00 for one extrat run and all of the money that people paid for the "K" runs as they called them goes to the victims. We raised over $700.00!! It was very cool.

My car is number 209 and commuter's is 452. Racing my Insight was a lot of fun and it aroused a lot of interest from the other drivers. I'm defiantly going to do it again sometime.

Lol, just a milled case of dyslexia… it’s all fixed now.

I can't notice the tape holding the numbers.
Magnets don't stick to our cars, how did you do it?

I use Cling Vinyl on my car for the numbers and letters. They work awesome. Just apply a little water and BAM. All of the Corvette guys use them also (fiberglass).

Alex used white plastic tape for his numbers and letters. The blue letter is held on with blue painters tape.

This is OT, but I wonder if that vinyl would work for the HOV stickers.
