Maybe a slightly similar plight here when I'd had a glut of automotive scrap metal on a farm, it was a total seven tons steel, aluminum, electrical components.
Realistically, remoteness/distance from the mill and load wt. was the salvage guy's main concern; I was glad to finally have everything hauled away for free. Clear space in the sheds, garage and outbuilding was the main issue. Metal value was down.
Not sure what $rate/wt. you’re looking for, but I ‘wouldn't hold my breath’ waiting for any sudden price rises to former 2008 Al scrap metal values any time soon. [< opinion]
As a naive relatively recent 'silverbug' here, and looking quickly today at Al scrap price historical charts together with net based info on Aluminum scrap metal value projections, it would appear to me that the price offered for scrap aluminum may likely continue it’s downward trend, depending largely on the S/D in PRC. [nb.5yr plans - controlled econ., trade/wars, etc.].
I'm wondering, with the increasing importance of PIC technology in modifying our cars, if there is a way to gain more understanding of the PIC design and programming process. There seems to be a variety of on-line courses available from various sources, all unevaluated except by dubious user...
