Maybe a slightly similar plight here when I'd had a glut of automotive scrap metal on a farm, it was a total seven tons steel, aluminum, electrical components.

Realistically, remoteness/distance from the mill and load wt. was the salvage guy's main concern; I was glad to finally have everything hauled away for free. Clear space in the sheds, garage and outbuilding was the main issue. Metal value was down.

Not sure what $rate/wt. you’re looking for, but I ‘wouldn't hold my breath’ waiting for any sudden price rises to former 2008 Al scrap metal values any time soon. [< opinion]
As a naive relatively recent 'silverbug' here, and looking quickly today at Al scrap price historical charts together with net based info on Aluminum scrap metal value projections, it would appear to me that the price offered for scrap aluminum may likely continue it’s downward trend, depending largely on the S/D in PRC. [nb.5yr plans - controlled econ., trade/wars, etc.].
