Hello minimum fuelburners !!!

For about 1 year I drive my Insight and still with a big :D , but when I look at my seat I can  What is this seat wearing fast !!! I mean, I always step in the car in a way that my jeans doesn't "scratch" the seat.
But even how carefull I am, the seats are getting worser in a fast rate.
I never ever had this with any car but the grey sides (lh & rh) looks like I wear velcro jeans or something like that :x Is it easy to replace a seat cover ? I also made a hole in it cause I forgot to remove a screwdriver out of my rearpocket :x :x , but this is in the black part.
Is it me or is the seat bad quality?

I'm absolutely with you on this one. The fabric on the seats is cheap. One thing you can do that helps slow new threads from being pulled out is to get an electric lint remover (the ones that kind of remind you of an electric shaver) and run it over the seats. I've even gone as far as to take some side burn trimmers and very carefully "shaved" off the little protruding ones.

In my case I wear shorts in the summer with velcro on the rear pockets so it's really making it worse. My black mesh is going even, when initially I thought that was going to last.

As far as entering your best bet really is to put one foot in and try sitting down as you would then pull the other one in so you don't slide.

Still, I think if I keep my car long enough it will end up getting a Katzkin Leather interior. It won't be cheap at ~$600, but it'll be grade A hide which, if conditioned at regular intervals, will last and last. But on the bright side if you consider what new seat covers from Honda run the leather is about the same price.

This is the partnumber of the seat cover:
81121-S3Y-A01ZA or B for the l/h or r/h side back rest and:
81131-S3Y-J01ZB or 81531-3SY-J01ZB for your 'bottom' part of the seat, I am gonna ask how much $/Eur it is.
