I've tried searching from this forum and haven't gotten my questions answered about the Insight service manual.

1. Can I buy the book from someone other than a dealer, assuming you can buy it from the dealer (if not please inform me where I can find it)? I'd like to support someone else if possible.

2. Also can someone give me a price of the manual.

I think you can also order it from the publisher (don't know the link off the top of my head) and I think it is around 70 bucks. I bet someone will come up with the link shortly.
