I mean, the local dealership is charging me 42 bucks for a documentary fee- but the dealership in AZ is charging me 368! I can understand 42, I refuse to pay 368 for "the sales manager to fill out paperwork." That's BS!

They're charging me basically 500 bucks over msrp. He keeps trying to pish me around saying that his price is the best he can do.

I dunno. I'm ready to tell the AZ dealer to go screw himself, and start the process over again in my search for an insight. Has anyone had to deal with Showcase Honda before here? Any good/bad experiences with them? I'm getting so discouraged.

Arrowhead Honda had a CVT silver Insight the last time I was over there. When I saw it it had a sticker on the window with the price below MSRP. This was a few weeks ago, so I'm not sure if it's still there or not.

I bought my 06 manual Insight from Earnhardt Honda in Phoenix for $300 over invoice. I waited 3 months to special order mine. (They had the doc fee too, but since the sales price was so much below MSRP, I was OK with that).

They were super-friendly, no pressure, and no BS, just like a dealer should be. I wouldn't buy a new Honda from anyplace else. $300 over invoice is the flat price for any vehicle they sell to members of the local S2000 club, but they are very web-friendly and they probably would extend you the same deal if you tell them you heard about it from s2ki. (The S2000 forum).

Try calling Lori Frost at Earnhardt and explain what you want to do. She is the service advisor for all S2000 work at that dealership and really tries to go the extra mile to help people out. If you tell her Adrian sent you, (that's me) that might help too. If she doesn't remember me, you can tell her I'm the guy with the S2000 and all the crazy gauges and she'll remember.

Both Showcase and Right Honda have very bad reps in the S2000 community in phoenix. I wouldn't deal with them.
