my scanner says 'no codes found, pass' but the smog check station
tells me that i have to drive 100 miles because the battery was disconnected
and the g1 computer reset .... is there a way to know this beforehand, new
scanner, mil code, something ? ... peace

It just means that all of the sensors are not set. Some scanners tell you, the cheap ones don't. Mine doesn't take anywhere close to 100 miles to set.

Plug in your scanner and look for I'm monitors to see if there set, most states if 6 out 0f 7 monitors are set you should be good to run up. Some scanners will show red when the monitor not set and green when set. The hardest one to set is either the o2 sensor or the evaporations monitor.

Watch the engine symbol on the dash. If after starting, the symbol blinks three time before going out, the emissions aren't set yet. Do two or three drive cycles, using various throttle settings.
If the symbol goes out after starting it is ready, with the emissions set..

I use a bluetooth OBDII dongle ($12/amazon) and the Torque Pro app ($5) on my android phone for Monitor checking, it will give all "green" indications if all the monitors are "set" so you can pass smog.

"evap" does not have to be green to pass smog, the rest must be "green".

Evap does not need to be completed in California to pass a smog check. I am not sure where you live.

No parts need to be changed, you would have a check engine light for a evap leak if there were a problem.

YES! if you clear codes the monitors will reset.
