**Announcement** The date & time has been set for a 2006 Insight gathering in Southern California! It is Sunday, April 30, 10am to 6pm at the Wal-Mart parking lot in Chino. We hope to have 20 or more from our group, as well as a few HCH, Prius, and Accord hybrids.

I will be driving all the way from the Seattle area with my red 2005, hoping to average 91 mpg along the way. I'll attempt to personally contact some of you who live in the SoCal area, and bribe or beg you to attend (just kidding) Anyway it will be a fantastic time! Anybody in?? Billy.......

Hi Billy,

Will try to make it. It's only a half-hour drive from my house, but on the prev. day I'll be in San Luis Obispo (for the Wildflower Century, 100 mi. bicycle ride).

I just have to talk my wife into leaving SLO earlier so we can attend. Not sure that will be easy since she likes to sleep in the morning after a Century ride, but will try.

Hi Willie; Chino, not Chico. Chino is only about 116 miles north of Campo.......... The location is just about 6 miles south of Ontario Airport. Bill....

Hi Griller; This is simply a casual, non-supported event. Just a bunch of folks who share common interests: fuel efficiency, automotive technology, reduced emissions, energy sustainability, etc. And it's a great chance to meet some nice people, compare notes, look at car modifications, and eat some food together.

Sure hope you will be able to attend!

lol, well I just got my Insight tuesday, so about all I could add would be my presence. But I'll try to make it. I'm not that far away, maybe 50 miles.

Sure, please invite your parents. It will be very nice to meet them! There will be a wide variety of hybrid cars; even an Escape and a Hilander. But definately we will have LOTS of Insights.........

I should have no problem attending. I've had my Insight for almost a year now, and I've been pretty surprised at how few others I've seen on the road. I guess here in SoCal we're SUV people. I've not had a single oppertunity to meet and chat with another owner other than the guy down my street. I'm definately looking forward to meeting with more Insighters!

There are probably three other Insighters from the San Diego area who post on Insight Central. Maybe they will "volunteer", I don't know. From checking the "map" (Frapper)there are a lot of insighters around the LA area.
I think it would be super neat to see a bunch of Insighters caravanning from San Diego to CHINO or even CHICO for a gathering.

I checked out the scangauge site. Good price, lots of information, too much "button pushing". They lack two reading I watch a lot. (O2 sensors).
Does it give the explanation of the trouble code?

Maybe you could post the gathering over at the Yahoo site.

Benjamin is in the process of tweaking them. Blue will be temporary (in IC time maybe a week )
