I saw on the toyota website this calculator.... it's funny to plug in what your insight gets for gas mileage. I know the insight is a shoebox on wheels and the prius is bigger. but still funny....

Yes, and the calculator computes almost $50 more for Prius than my HCH per year

Funny.. I think Honda's similar calculators go to a screen that says you wouldn't save any fuel with a HCH or HAH if the number comes out to be negative.
