Today, I went to fuel up my Insight for the first time I bought it (drove about 400 miles on a half-tank). I lifted the lever in the car to open the gas cap door several times, but it didn't seem to budge. At one point, when trying to get the door open, I heard a click. So I lifted the gas tank lever again and took my car key and gingerly pried the door open. Has anyone else had trouble with the gas cap door?

I'm loving this car. I got 65.5 miles per gallon in cold weather driving through the Ozark Mountains.

Was it freezing outside ?
If it was, the water collected in the area might be the cause of it.

Hi,

Appened to me twice. The second time I pulled the ajusting screw out (in the middle, made to be turned with an allen screw driver) and put some white lithium grease (spray). I did not get that anymore.
