Try as I might, I can't find reference to a clock anywhere in the hanbook for my Insight, neither is there on on the standard radio cassette.

Surley there is one somewhere, I am just missing it.

I don't know about Insights exported to the UK, but the following is basically how the clock works in US Insights, perhaps it will be of help:

The Insight's digital clock is incorporated with the radio, and the time display is the default mode unless you have just pushed a button for operation of the radio, cassette, or the optional CD; in which case the display refers to the equipment you have used, and then reverts back to the time display after about 5 seconds.

If an error occurs while operating the CD, instead of displaying the time, a CD error code appears on the display and will not switch to time until the error is corrected. Hope this helps.

Two of the CD errors are easy to correct:

If the display reads _ . _ _ , then insert the CD magazine

If the display reads 0.00 , then insert a CD in the magazine

Hope this helps.

They all come standard with cassette in the dash. Optional CD changer in the back. Perhaps the US models have different head units.
