Yeah I had a quirk on my 2000 a few months back. Can't remember what I may have done, but I was getting infinite MPG. Swapped display to l/100km and it showed zero. Little worried, but no effect on performance, but pulled off when I could, shut down till I heard the click, then it was OK again. Improved my trip milage significantly
