I’m hopeful someone with knowledge of these symptoms recognizes what is causing this and can provide feedback.
ISB?
Clutch?

Noise - Gears 1-3
Noise - Clutch pedal out

Yes it sounds like the isb bearing going out. I would replace the throw out bearing too.

I notice that the “chattering” grinding noise in gears 1-3 is louder under acceleration and lessens when I let off the accelerator.
Is that consistent with an ISB going bad?

Mine did the same thing. It got worse and i ended up changing the clutch,throwout bearing and isb and several other internal seals. Mine eventually stranded me and the clutch stop engaging. Cheap insurance since your already in there.
