So this was a rare event today. I had two sightings in one mile. Had I been on the more ritzy side of town it might not have suprised me, but I don't see so many other Insight's around here. I was on my way back from Fry's electronics and first saw a Citrus yellow one! Then about one mile later I saw one from a distance, but I first said the blue is wrong, then realized it was a Navy Blue Pearl. So those are probably the rarest two colors, what are the odds of seeing those two so close to eachother?

Wow, talk about a high concentration area! And rare colors to boot.

I've only seen one other on the road, but here at work (Delta Air Line Tech Ops) we have 3 silver's in the general parking area, 2 on day shift, and me on second. Delta folks are a far flung lot, when it comes to commuting to work, so econobox cars are rampant. Never had a chance to speak to the 2 other guys, so far.

I ran into two of them yesterday in my town also. A silver one and one in the older blue color. I've seen one in the newer blue here also but so far mine has been the only red I've seen. I followed the light blue one to his house and he only lives a few blockes away from me! We had a good conversation on the insights and he said he's had quite a few people follow him home to ask about the car.

Right after I bought mine this year, I noticed another silver one right on my own block. Keep meaning to walk over and chat with the guy, but haven't done it yet.

About three months ago, on my way home I passed an incredibly hot blonde in a silver Insight. She must live up here in Palmdale somewhere but I haven’t seen her since and this is a small town…

On my way to my office one afternoon I saw a silver insight speeding up in the traffic behind me. The car got up by mine and slowed, so the driver wanted to catch up to me.. it was a fairly cute young brunette. She waved, I waved, and she sped off.

my 2001 is a prior rental. Came with all kinds of documentation from the rental company. I forget the name, but they rent nothing but hybrids! Must be a California thing.
