Two weeks ago I installed an Ima Boost from Peter. Been happy until these last couple days in which when assist is being requested, it is bouncing all over the place from a little bit to a lotta bit. Pushing and holding the button to request full assist only seems to raise the amount it will jump to slightly.

My soldering was pretty ****. My TS80 was powered by a little battery pack and couldn't get up to temp so I'm assuming the vibrations got to it and have a poor connection.

It was all good until recently so I'm assuming that's it. Will crack it open again this weekend. Anything else to check?

Post decent pics of your PCB board (both sides)
A bad connection or wiring splice will certainly cause problems.

Check where you tapped/spliced into the harness for the signals, those joints should be very secure.
Post pics of the wires/joints.

Soldering needs heat or it's a nightmare. Cold joints =

Yah I got tired of it and called it good. Clearly it wasn't lol.

Time to find an extension cord so I can do it right!
