You are absolutely correct, my bad. The 60k came from a dealer's SM the other day. (I probably should read the maint. schedule again, eh?).
Anyway, 105k seems REALLY extreme, and I agree with your comment that the biggest issue isn;t "ticking" from the adjustment becoming loose, but the opposite, that they tighten up. The valve and seat surfaces can wear over time and decrease the clearance between the roller arm and the valve stem. I may just pop the valve cover of at the next service & check 'em to be sure.
