My wife has her driving test tomorrow and these warnung lights need to be off or she will fail.
Symptoms: ABS not working Sensors replaced but 5 different diagnostics units cannot communicate with ECU to clear / read fault 1 garage says it will most likely need ABS pump / module costing about 600 euro. Is there a way to even temporarily turn off these lights?

Perhaps an actual Honda dealer? What year is it? Have you ever replaced the brake fluid? That has a schedule of every three years regardless of miles (km in your case) There may be a cautionary tail here for the rest of us. This might seem like a silly thing to have to do, but it is much cheaper than ABS modules. By the way, the first time a dealer suggested I have this done was on one of the first vehicles I ever had with ABS, a 1982 Mazda truck, so it isn’t even a new thing.

Its a 2009. I only have the car 4 months so never replaced brake fluid. Looks like there is no communication with ABS module. Hopefully it doesnt need to be replaced as I am broke!

I brought the car to Honda and they couldn't diagnose the issue. They said probably the module is gone but cant say for sure. They said it happena in lots of different Hondas around this age.

Anyone have any experience on this? They said go to an Abs specialist and get it rebuilt. What exactly goes in the module?

If Hondas own diagnostic testers can't communicate with the ABS module, then assuming it hasn't got a wiring issues (Rodent nibbled wires) , blown fuse etc, it will have to be replaced.

It's highly unlikely to be internally repairable..

Buy a known good one from a breaker car in which the airbags have not been deployed..

Does it then need to be reprogrammed by Honda
