Hi Ericbecky:

___I am on afternoons that day but I might be able to trade it away to double on another. If so, count me in for 2. Ahhh, screw it. I have almost 4 weeks of vacation so count me in. The last time I was at Miller Park, I was in the 223 seating area. Great seats, and a great park if I do say so myself. Best in baseball according to many in fact … Leaving was a SOB given the one way in/one way out. You had better get some of the Prius and HCH folks involved to fill 25 from the Chicago, Milwaukee, and Madison area however. There are so few of us Insighter’s from around here :(

___Good Luck

Although I live near Madison, WI, I'll probably be coming up from the Chicago/Naperville,IL area. (I'm helping a friend move Friday/Saturday).
We'll have to link up for a cruise on the way.

Hi Ericbecky:

___If it weren’t for the 50’ berm on the back of my subdivision, I could see I94 from all of the second story windows … hooking up for the drive up would be pretty neat. It would also give a great side by side mileage comparison of a CVT and a 5-speed. As long as you don’t draft me and I don’t draft you that is ;)

I have posted more info about the Sunday April 25th hybrid gathering at Miller Park in Milwaukee at this webpage:
http://www.geocities.com/ericbecky/hybr ... ingapril25

Here are some highlights from that webpage.

Hybrid Car Enthusiasts Gathering at Miller Park in Milwaukee

Sunday April 25, 2004
Brewers vs. Cardinals
Game time 1:05

Join other hybrid car enthusiasts for a day of fun at the Midwest's premier ballpark!

Owners, prospective owners, or those interested in finding out more, are all invited.

Insight, Prius, & Honda Civic Hybrid owners are encouraged to bring your vehicles.

Hope to see you there!

If we purchase the tickets as a group of 25 or more we get
- Scoreboard recognition
- A block of seats together
- The $3 per ticket handling fee waived.

Since full payment is due to the stadium office 30 days prior to the game date, time is of the essence. (Payment will be due March 25: Less than two weeks away!)

Final head count will be done March 21st.
If we do not have 25 people, the $3 handling fee per ticket will apply!

Ticket Cost:
Currently, there is special pricing for the Terrace Reserved tickets.

Regularly these tickets are $12, but right now they are available for only $9, plus you get a free soda and hot dog.

To me, this seems to be the best value. I am taking feed back up through March 14 regarding other ticket options. Barring any changes, this will be the tickets the group purchases.

Check back here March 15th for confirmation.

There are other ticket options available (see webpage or earlier post)
Take a look and provide feedback, through March 14th.

Payment:
I will coordinate the group purchase of tickets.

All payments must be received by me via check no later than March 25, 2004

Hi Ericbecky:

___Would you mind linking up or describing that small Hybrid meet you were involved with a few weeks ago on the Geocities page? I think it would add more enthusiasm as I just posted a link to the Geocities site in the Priusonline forums a few minutes ago.

___$9.00 w/ a Hot Dog and Soda! They are practically paying us to go :D

___As an edit, don’t forget to mention this was announced over at Priusonline.com as shown here.

___Good Luck

The group has been decided to purchase Terrace Reserved tickets for the April 25 hybrid gathering at Miller Park in Milwaukee to see the Brewers.
Cost:
$12 ticket price
$3 handling fee

If 25 people or more attend, we can get
-a $3 discount on the tickets
- the $3 handling fee waived
- a free hot dog and soda
- scoreboard recognition

So far we have 5 people attending and invite you to join us.

This is a great chance to speak to other hybrid owners in the region, have fun, and attract public attention to hybrids.

There will be a final head count on March 21, (this Sunday) in order to meet the group ticket payment deadline.

You can read more details about the event at the webpage
http://www.geocities.com/ericbecky/hybr ... ingapril25
