Hey Folks,

I thinking about getting some red Wet Okole set covers for my red Insight. Has anyone tried this particular color combination? Does it look good?

Their web site lists 3 colors that I think might work: Red, Wine, or Black. I'd be interested in your opinion if you've seen any of these colors in a red Insight.

Thanks.

Seat Covers

jb,
Can't help much with a red solid color match but.....I did get the "Green Aloha" set for my 2000 Citrus Yellow and it looks like a factory job, perfect. Maybe a print type would work. (I tried to talk Wet Okolee in to making up a cargo mat too, but no luck.)
Let me kmow what you get.

I just purchased a pair of Wet Okole seat covers for my 2000 Insight. They are good quaility and fit nicely. The neoprene material gives the seat just a little more padding which is nice. The covers are a little too pricey in my opinion but I could not find an alternative that I liked. I removed the seats which made the installation quite easy. Overall I would recommend them.

I have a set of red/black Okoles in my red Insight and love them, they make it look really sporty. Color match is not perfect but it's close enough.

Another plus is that the black armrest I'm getting will look reasonable next to the black side panels of the seat covers.

Also got a set of tan/black Okoles for my Subaru and am less happy because the tan part gets dirty. But that may be because I often drive the Subaru while wearing sweaty workout gear. Have to try the cleaning liquid that I got with them.

I just installed these in my 2001 Monte Carlo blue Insight. I chose the blue insert closest to the color of my car. They fit great and look fantastic! I did not remove my seats to do the install and wound up bruising my forearms. I would recommend removing the seats to make the installation easier. They are pricey, but in my opinion, definitely worth the money. My new armrest looks great up beisde these covers!
