so what's with the power driver, driver, driver in training stuff? Obviously there's some sort of meaning to the terms here but I've been unable to find an explanation.

Members with 20 or more posts are power drivers.

It's a feature of the PHPBB forums. The admin can customize a short message to appear under the username, in this case it is based on the number of posts the user has. Once you reach a certain number of posts it will say Driver then when you hit the next threshold it will say Power Driver.

I think it's higher than 20, or it was changed at one point.
